E-Book 1 of 3

Joy in Trials

Joy in Trials is joy in life because without trials we don’t grow.  Plain and simple.

James says that trials are inevitable, so the question is what’s your attitude toward them?  Are you a trial embracer or a trial victim?

Put your pencil to work and cultivate the courage to say to trials “Bring ’em on!”

Wouldn’t it be great to have wisdom on demand?  A clear answer from God when you need it most?

James says God is willing to give wisdom to anyone who asks for it BUT that our mind needs to be well-anchored when we ask for it.

With constantly changing emotions and often a flawed sense of perception, how can you KNOW  your mind is anchored?

The Identity Dilemma

A saint that sins.  Sounds like a contradiction, but leaning in and embracing your identity in Christ allows no room for splitting.

Discover the power of “I am”, counterpunched by the humility that comes from “am I?”, and learn to fail forward.

Feel secure in your uniqueness, despite your weaknesses.  It’s the only way to be authentic and bloom where you’re planted.

The first 8 verses of James are the basis for these E-Books.  They make both a comprehensive and impactful statement on what it means for the individual to beat addiction and carry out the Christian faith.  That’s why I call these first 8 verses “the solids”.

The Solids

James covers identity, the importance of seeking God over human relationships, the promise of trials, the meaning of trials, the supremacy of joy (not happiness), the importance of singleness of mind AND how to ask God for wisdom ALL in this one paragraph.
